Gary Hargreaves, founder and owner of CLCS
As a child, Gary has always loved tinkering about and repairing electrical gadgets.
Once he was introduced to the world of laundry equipment repairs by his uncle, he then honed his instinctive engineering skills to train, initially as an apprentice, then qualified as a gas safe electrical engineer in the laundry and catering industry being quickly promoted as Head of Service followed by Installation Manager in a national company.
Not only does he hold the accolade as being the font of all knowledge, he’s also highly regarded in the industry as one of the very best laundry and catering engineers in the UK – it’s a strong statement but we stand by it – even his competitors, whom he continues to have a long standing working relationship, agree!
He is unique in that he can repair ANY make and model of machine with a fast turnaround.
Over the past 30 years Gary has worked in a variety of businesses ranging from care homes, prisons, to 5-star hotels, premier league football stadiums, the U.S. Embassy in London, and from local towns to the Outer Hebrides.
Gary has travelled the length and breadth of the UK and he can usually remember every job (machine and location!).
He gets the job done quickly and effectively and regularly goes above and beyond as his testimonies prove.
Gary is skilled at explaining, in layman’s terms, what repair/work needs doing and how best to resolve it.
He is also able to source spare parts or new machines and is able, through his network of suppliers, to get great discounts for clients.
He is more than happy to source reconditioned machines or parts, too, if that better meets a client’s budget. In other words, he is very ethical and trustworthy.
